In-Town Fall Soccer Update

Fall soccer registration is open!

Who should register:
- Players who participated in the MUSA soccer season who just can't get enough soccer! Get more soccer touches, develop your skillset, and have fun with some in-town scrimmages. Grab a friend to join you!
- Children who have never played soccer with MUSA who are interested in learning more about soccer, our club, our coaches, etc. This is a great opportunity to try out MUSA soccer without a travel commitment.
- Children entering grades 1-7 (Players will be separated into at least two groups by age/skill level.)
 
When and where:
Sundays and Mondays at the Holy Redeemer grass field
Monday, August 23 - Monday, September 27 (skip Labor Day)
6-7:30 p.m.
(August 23, 29, 30 and September 5, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27)
Program goals:
1) Provide a fun, safe environment for playing soccer
2) Develop specific skills through drills (Monday's focus)
3) Play in-town, small-sided scrimmages (Sunday's focus)
 
What to bring:
- #4 soccer ball
- Shin guards
- Soccer cleats
- Water bottle
 
Cost:
$20/player (covers field space, insurance, equipment, etc.)
 
Notes:
- Late registrants are welcome.
- Sessions will be cancelled in the case of thunder or lightning.
- Scrimmages on Sundays will be free play monitored by MUSA coaches. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
- Volunteer coaches (adults or responsible young adults) are needed even if only for certain nights. Fall soccer is a great opportunity to try out coaching with minimal commitment and no travel. If you think you might find fulfillment in helping our community youth be active and develop a skillset, please contact [email protected]. Experience with playing soccer is not required, and you will be provided with direction for coaching.
