Middle School Soccer - Fall Registration

Open to all 5th - 8th grade girls and boys!

This program entering its 2nd season works with the Marshall High School soccer coaching staff, players, volunteer coaches, MCS staff and MUSA representatives. This program seeks to promote sportsmanship, a sense of fair play within the framework of a team sport and to develop interest in the game of soccer.

August 31st - October 14th

Tentative Practice Days: M/ W/ Th 3:15 – 5:00 P
(Middle School Practice Fields)

Participants must provide their own shin guards
Physicals are required. All players must have their physical on record before attending practices or games
Soft spikes are optional
Fee: $35 Resident, $43.75 Non-resident

Board Meeting, Wednesday, August 12th

The regular monthy Board meeting on the second Wednesday will be this Wednesday, August 12th, at 11:30AM in the Library basement room.

Field and Equipment Co-ordinators Needed!

Field and Equipment Coordinators are neede for each of the Travel and In-town leagues. Duties are check-out of equipment at the season's begin and check-in at season's end. If new equipment is needed, they will need to order this. Additionally, a schedule of volunteers will be developed to line the fields weekly for practices and games. If you are willing to fulfill this vital role, please email Mike Booke at mbooke@booke.org.

In-town league for ages 4-10 begins May 19th!

Summer Season Dates: May 26^th through July 23
Kids learn basic soccer concepts, skills and develop self-confidence and have lots of fun!

Teams are coed. Players will need a size 3 ball, shin guards, and comfortable tennis shoes or soccer cleats.
When and where will my child play? Practices and games are Tuesdays and Thursdays at Marshall Middle School between 5:30PM and 8:30PM.

How Do I Register?
Register in Person : on May 11th, 4:30-6:30pm at Schwan’s Ice Arena Registration night you will need: Insurance information, Doctor and Dentist information, and a check for fees. Scholarships are available.
Register by Mail: Simply print off the forms (In-town registration available soon) on the marshallunited.org Web site and mail them to: MUSA Registrar, 402 Elizabeth St., Marshall, MN, 56258
Registrations must be received no later than May 18, 2008.

Travel League Practice has begun!

Travel league practice has begun for the U12 team on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-7:30PM at Holy Redeemer School Fields - MAR05. Practice for the U14 and U17 teams will resume the week of May 4th. Watch your team pages for more information.
